Question : Hiding running perl script from StartUp menu on WinNT

Is it possible to hide the running of a perl script for the user, i.e. no DOS window and no icon on the taskbar.
I am running the perl script from a shortcut in the StartUp menu entry from the Start button. The only thing I can accomplish now is to run the shortcut minimized (icon on the taskbar).

Answer : Hiding running perl script from StartUp menu on WinNT

Simply no?  Here we go again.  If you define hidden as 'no DOS window and no icon', then
install Tk, make the script a Tk script, withdraw yourself, and you should be OK.  Note that the script will show up on the task list
