Question : Scanpst.exe not working - 2GB problem

Hello,

My pst file went over the 2GB limit, which causes outlook to view it as an error. Microsoft has a program you can download to delete some of the data and get you back under the 2GB limit. Then you need to use scanpst.exe to repair the file. The scanpst.exe goes through 8 phases of checking the data and then asks if you want to repair the file. I hit the repair button and scanpst.exe goes into non-responding mode and crashes.

The version of scanpst.exe that i am using is 5.5.2174.0
I have found a newer version 11.0.6252.0 but i can not get it to open, i get the following error:
"The procedure entry point CbPhysicalMemory@0 could not be located in the dynamic link library MSMAPI32.dll"

Can anyone help me recover my old pst file???
