Question : How to upgrade from Crystal report version 7 to 11?

Dear Gurus,

We have an old windows based application built using Visual Basic 6, Sql Server 2000 and Crystal reports 7.

We would like to upgrade the Crystal reports from version 7 to 11.

Please advise how much effort and cost will be required to upgrade the crystal reports.

Do I have to modify something in each report or does the crystal report engine take care of it automatically?

Would I have to modify the code in the VB6 code files?

Answer : How to upgrade from Crystal report version 7 to 11?

You are using the  OCX.  It is not supported past CR8.

You will need to use the  RDC
