Question : cluster DHCP
I need to know if it is possible to use DHCP in a cluster. I was told that if you had 2 DC's and they were mirrored in a cluster that you could use a virtual ip. I am confused as to what he means, but I always thought that you could not use anything but a static IP address for each server in the cluster. I have never read that you could use a vitual IP. Is this true? and can you use a DHCP address? This is what I was told, but it made no sense to me. Please help, with any info on this. Maybe2003 now allows this, but I have never seen anything on it, and I tried to loook it up today, but with no success.
