Question : USB camera works only after replug usb port

Ciao a tutti.

Athlon 64 3800+   512 KBmemory  180 MB 6 USB  ATI Radeon X550 HD WINDOWS XP SP2 SKYPE.

Everythings worked without problems. 1 months ago suddenly (could be I've installed somethings but I am not sure about) the USB Camera (AMT PRO series branded TX bougth in bundle with a SKYPE offer) stops working in a strange way. After a lot of uninstalling and reinstalling, finally I fixed a reproducing bug.

- I install the camera - everythings work without problem.
- I switch off the compter
- Switching it on, during XP loading, the camera is recognised (lamp on for a little)
- Windows up and running, the camera has seen (Control Panel, system peripherals and so on) but the video and the instant photo doesn't start with any program (XP internal via TWAIN o WIA, Skype, AMPCAP - little viewer coming with the camera)
- if I only unplag the USB of the camera and replug then it, everythings works without problems.

Any idea about?

Mate have you tried using a power USB hub and see if that works.....
