Question : Microsoft Exchange Server 2000 MBX Deleted?
The Microsoft Exchange Server 2000 that is running Microsoft Exchange 5.0 has had all of the MBX files deleted. This deletion took place on it's own, and was not initiated by a user. The system was working fine at 7:10am, and then at approximately 7:15am all the mailboxes disappeared. None of the user can log on because Microsoft Exchange cannot find the directory MBX. I went to view the directory it's to see what was going on, and I cannot seem to locate it either. It just disappeared!!!! I feel that the data is still present due to the fact that my hard disk space did not get cleared up. However, I am not sure how to locate this information.

Yup, that's what I said back at 3:32. You will be able to get the email up to 17GB using http://support.microsoft.com/kb/813051 and then the store will stay up long enough to pull some email out.
