Question : Adobe Acrobat freezes when opening documents with tickmarks

One user is currently having this problem. When he opens an Adobe document in Adobe Standard 7 that has tickmarks, Adobe freezes with the cursor in the top left of the window with the following menu open.

connectors
tickmarks
dynamic
sign here
show stumps
palette

I can't find this toolbar anywhere in Adobe. When he presses ctrl + alt + del to end the program, the document usually opens the second time. Sometimes they will not open and he has to send the document to another user to open. No one else has this problem. I have searched Adobe's knowledge base and have found nothing. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Acrobat is up to date and the tech that was here before me has already tried reinstalling it.

Answer : Adobe Acrobat freezes when opening documents with tickmarks

When you reinstall Acrobat, it does not remove or even touch the custom stamp file. If something is wrong with that file, you need to remove that file and install it again.
