Question : Windows XP cannot find any Audio devices.

HI Experts,

I have completed a system recovery for some one and the sound is not working.

In the sound and audio devices properties there is no device installed.

I have tried downloading and installing the AC97 drivers but this made no difference, In the device manager there is not reported problems with any of the devices.

Any suggestions would be greatly recieved.

Hey, sorry didnt help. Reinstalled and problem still existed.

Have performed a reinstall and is OK now.

Thanks for every ones help. Not sure what caused this, or what the fix was but a reinstall has resolved.
