Question : Create a Server Side rule in SBS2003 / Exchange 2003
I need to create a rule that is sent out as soon as an email arrives at the server. The email address - [email protected]m - is associated with a public folder. There is no user within AD called 'bookings'. When an email comes in via the POP collector to bookings it goes to the public folder and is forwarded to a User. I need to create a Server side rule for when an email is received into bookings that is a simple 'thankyou ....". Each time I try and create one on the Users PC - where I have to place "bookings" as something with the address of the recipient, Outllok tells me that I cannot use a Client Side rule on the Server Side. It would need to work in a similar fashion to an OOO rule (but with different text) and could be set to run permanently as everyone will get a "thank you". I have tried for weeks to do this and got nowhere - any assistance will be greatly apprecaited.

Hmmm, I'm at a loss. I really don't know why it would give you that message. You might want to post it as a new question. I wish I could help more.
