Question : HTML in \Inetpub\mailroot\Pickup
|
|
I know that I can drop a TXT file into the c:\Inetpub\mailroot\Pickup folder and SMTP will deliver the email message. The format for these email messages are as follows:
TO: [email protected] FROM: [email protected] SUBJECT: Automated message
Place your text here
However, this simply delivers the email in PLAIN TEXT mode. How does one send an email that is in HTML format? I would like to be able to drop/create HTML formatted emails, and drop them in the \pickup folder, but I don't know what is required and how it would differ from creating email in PLAIN TEXT mode.
