Question : Norton Ghost disk copy...undo?
|
|
Made a bit of a boob to say the least. I think I already know the answer to my question however I can but try.
I was making a clone of a disk and the source and destination disks have got mixed up. The end result being that I ended up with two blank disks. DOH!
The operation took about 2 secs to complete which rang the alarm bells straight away. I'm assuming that the data must still be on the disk as there was no format that took place, just the MBR cloned from a formatted drive.
Does anyone have any bright ideas that might save the data or am I, along with disk, completeley screwed?

I don't believe that software does anything to help you there. You maybe able to find another mbr fix utility, but I doubt it will help in this case, but you never know until you try.
