Question : Can you update SCSI drivers LSI 53C895?

On my NT Server 4.0 I currently which has SCSI hard drive.  I have SCSI driver 53C895 from LSI.  I also have a DVD r/RW SCSI drive.  Evertime I burn to my DVD drive onto a DVD-R media I get a SCSI timeout error.  In the event log I get the following:  ID: 9 Source: symc8xx  The device /device/scsiport0, did not respond with in the timeout period.  Burning to the dvd then fails.  I was thinking if I update my scsi drive this would fix it.  DO you think I should try this first or any other ideas what to do?  I went to LSI site to see if there were any updated drivers for LSI SCSI 53c8xx driver and could not even find this driver.  Where can I go to get an update and what would that update be.

THanks,
JC

Answer : Can you update SCSI drivers LSI 53C895?

I found the update to the SCSI drivers.  This updated sCSI to 4.16 from 4.13.  This did not resolve burning to dVD-R problem.  I resolved this problem by updating Gear Pro Software to latest version.  I am able to burn to DVD-R's now just fine.
