Question : HP BIOS Upgrade Website Confusion

My user has an HP nx9010 laptop running XP pro.  It's bios version is KH.F.08,  On the HP support site when I search for software and drivers I come to two solutions:

1.  If I select specific xp pro OS, it gives me options for 3 bios upgrades, 15, 22, and 25,  Reading the supporting info about each, they track back to rev version 06, not 08.

2. If I select the option for cross OS, I get only rev 08 and 09 for bios.

Rev. 15 has the fix I am looking for, reducing the fan noise.  Is there any reason I couldn't upgrade to rev. 15?

I don't see why not, but I would upgrade to F25 since it is the newest version and it also should include your fix in F15, but also has many more fixes.
