Question : Webmail shows list of emails but cannot open or create a new message.  Help!?

Webmail shows list of emails but cannot open any of them or create a new message MS Outlook set up with an exchange account can open messages locally but it takes very long updating the inbox. Messages from external providers (gmail, yahoo) dont show up anywhere, but there is no message that there was a problem delivering the message in either gmail or yahoo.

I finally got to the bottom of it. It was the 16 gb restriction of the database size in our Exchange 2000 version. The warning message was filling up the logs but who's reading.....:-))).  

We ended up transitioning to 2007. It took us 4 full days mostly battling with the legacy environment until we got rid of all server 2000 DC's and finally saw the light!  Now with  the 2007 Enterprise Edition we'd sooner run out of server space (and that would be a bit harder to miss) than reach the 16TB database  limit.
