Question : Show a calulated column with total of calulation in the New form

I have created a list will a column that has a number that is selected by the user. The next column is a calulated column to (=[number that is selected by the user column]/3 *5 in currancy. This all works. But I would like the calulated total to show up in the 'New" form. I do not have InfoPath or Design. I am not really formilar with Content types - so if the response is realted to content types please be specific. We would like the user to be able to use the form as a reciept for what will be pulled out of their paycheck for this event.

With InfoPath you could just connect to the list and download the data and then use the data, although calculated columns cannot be used but you could do the calculation again within the form.
If you do not have InfoPath, I am not sure what you are using to build the form, but if you can connect to a web service then you can get access to the SP list and then maybe filter it by user to show their data and then perform the calculation and create the receipt.
