Question : My computer clock time keeps changing to Ekaterinburg time

When I shut down my laptop and start it after a day or so the time has changed to Ekaterinburg time + 5 hrs Gmt.

I do not know what could be doing this, i have up to date avg virus shield.

Any views on this, it is really just an inconvenience.

Answer : My computer clock time keeps changing to Ekaterinburg time

if you are on a domain then the time will sync with the Domain Controller, if will do no harm however to make sure that the options to sync with an external time source is ticked.

The key element however is the TIME ZONE, make sure that the time zone settings on ALL your machines is set correctly, otherwise windows will apply an offset to compensate for the different grographical locations.
