Question : OCS 2007 R2 Group Chat Server

Hi Experts,

I am in the process of deploying OCS2007 R2 group chat server, and my OCS2007 R2 server works well. I deployed OCS R2 Group chat server in a separate box successfully, however, there is one service failed to start. I am able to start Office Communications server lookup service and after some time this service goes down.

Just to let you know, I didn't deployed compliance service on this box as per Microsoft recomendation

I have attached a screenshot of the error I've got.

Can anyone point me on the right direction?

Answer : OCS 2007 R2 Group Chat Server

It is hard to tell from the screenshot, but can you see if the group chat service is referencing a specific FE FQDN rather than the pool FQDN?  If that is the case, can you modify the settings to make sure it references the POOL FQDN, then restart the services?
