Question : accessing the history of the computer.

Hi
I was wondering if anyone can help. I know how to access the most recent 'history' on the computer but is there any way that I can look up history from further back eg: the week before last (around the 27/04/05) approx. ???
I am using windows xp Home edition and am trying to trace particular web site pages that I accessed back then.

Answer : accessing the history of the computer.

The INDEX.DAT file located in the C:\WINDOWS\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5 directory should contain a lot of information about previous browsing habits. You can browse through it in Notepad, or use a program such as this one:
