Question : Change Timer Job Definition for alerts in sharepoint central administration

I need to figure out to command line or any other way to change the Timer Job Definition for alerts from "Daily" to "Minutes".  This is a must...right now, even with alerts set up to send "Immediately" at the site level, it only emails them out on a daily basis.
