Question : Is there a way to change the frequency of out of office replies in Exchange 2003?

Currently, we are using Exchange 2003 with Out of Office replies enabled. However, the out of office reply only works the first time an email is received from a specific recipient. Subsuquent emails from the recipient do not receive an Out of Office reply. I'd like to change this frequency to once per day, if possible.
In other words, let's say Adam goes on a 2 week vacation. Bob emails Adam and gets an out of office reply. Then, a week passes and Bob emails Adam again. This time, Bob does not get an out of office reply because he already got one the week before. But, Bob forgot that Adam was out (since so much time had passed since he got the out of office), and Bob gets angry that Adam isn't responding.
Ideally, i'd like the system to 'reset' the out of office replies every 24 hours. So, if Bob emailed Adam 5 times on day one, he'd only get an out of office reply the first time. But, if he emails again a few days later, he'd once again get an out of office reply because more than 24 hours had passed since the first notification.
Anyone know how to do this?

You cannot change the functionality of the Out of Office replies in any way. The only way would be to configure an automatic reply instead of an Out of the Office, but that would respond to all email messages and could cause a loop.
