Question : How to port GCC

Hi

I would like to know what to do to port - in particular gcc - but some general rules or some information on how to port anything
to a new architecture.

any details would be great - im also happy to answer questions about my gcc port in aid of it

AFAIKT is gcc a very, very large system. Althoug it was ported on the diverse platforms I bet this wasn't an easy undertaking. I'm sure it is easier to port a smaller compiler I'd look for tiny C maybe lcc or others...

Could probably save some time...
