Hi EE,
I need to develop information for a marketing campaign and I'm stumped because it is beyond Google's capabilities. I don't know anything about other search tools existing that may be able to combine results from different sources, so I need help. Here is the type of info needed:
1. By specific keyword (or words) example: "baby," find ALL WEBSITES THAT HAVE "BABY" IN THEIR DOMAIN NAME.(this, by itself, can be done in Google)
2. I would want the found sites, sorted by total amount of traffic, with the site producing the most traffic, listed first. Alexa is a tool that ranks this, however, I can't figure how to include this in a Google search, and Alexa doesn't have any free service to list more than 10 sites.
3. IF TRAFFIC VOLUME is unobtainable, then something similar would be a fall back plan. Examples: # of visitors, page views, (inbound links wouldn't be perfect, but it's another "indicator"), pagerank of home page, etc.
4. Another criteria that would be ideal, is a way to tell where a specific keyword (again, example "baby") ranks for each site. i.e., is "baby" the #1 keyword for the site, or is it # 150?
5. I don't know if this is possible, but I know for my own site that for each keyword, I see it's rank as well as # of page views a search for that keyword generated on my site.
6.If I could pre-qualify search results with something like "if 'baby' is in the top 10 keywords for the site," that would be perfect.
7. If Alexa data were available to search on, any site ranked between #1 and #200,000 or 1 - 500,000 would be my target. If not, just sorting results would suffice.
8. The final "wish list element" is to take the resulting sites from whatever criteria above could be performed, and FOR THAT SITE, rather than sort the results by the Home Page of that site, to sort it using the "Contact Page" for the site.
Ideally, a free tool would be preferred, but at this point, I'm open to others. I found this interesting tool that I thought would be able to do what I wanted, but after minimal testing, couldn't figure out how; although it very well might do it. It's Auto Web Browser 1.5 at http://www.sekhol.com/. If you haven't heard of it, you might find it interesting or know if it could work.
I realize this is a lot to request and anything you can do to partially or completely solve this would be tremendously appreciated.
Thanks.
