Question : "kmode exception"

there were two hard drives in the NT machine.  One died, and was replaced with an identical drive from the factory.  Now NT won't boot.  All it says is "kmode exception not handled."

There is more to the KMODE message that tells you where your problem is, but more than likely you have a RAM problem. You may have knocked one of your simms loose when replacing the drive. Try removing all of the SIMMS and reinstalling them. If this is not the case, try posting the entire error message.
