Question : IE will not launch more than once after I reboot - what could be blocking it

What could stop IE from launching?  When I click the icon I see the hard drive flash but no IE.  If I reboot I can get on the net or get IE to launch I should say once then if I close it I am without the net or IE again.

Also, if you have IE 7, try right-clicking the IE  icon on your desktop and clicking "Start Without Add-ons". If it works, try narrowing the problem down by opening IE, putting your mouse pointer over "Manage Add-ons", and clicking "Enable or Disable Add-ons" and disabling certain items until you find what may be wrong.
