Question : Administrator lacking administrator rights on printer install?

Client of mine had an HP printer working for 3 months...and had a power blip the other day.  Printer is now missing.  

I did a remote support session with him, and when he attempt to run setup, the program says he is lacking administrative rights to install it.

I right clicked and ran as administrator, and got the same error.  Created a new profile, and same error.

Looking for direction.  All help is appreciated!

The Vista UAC is very flaky when doing installs, especially on packages created for older versions of windows (ie XP). If I were you I would have him disable UAC reboot, install his printer, and then enable UAC (If he wants it on). You can do this in the "Users" section of Control Panel!
