Question : SQL Server Replication Log Reader Agent Error

I'm trying to set up transactional replication from one SQL server to another.  Both machines are running SQL Server 2000 Enterprise.  I'm able to set up Snapshot replication easily and without issues, but when I set up Transactional Replication, I immediately get an access violation error message on the Log Reader Agent.  No error code, no description, nothing.  Just the words "An access violation occurred".  I have no idea what the problem is or where to look, and would appreciate any help offered.

Are you using the same account to run the replication on both servers?  Does this account have the necessary privledges?
